Club Relocation Update

The following summary is based on the information presented to members by the Relocation Team, Richard Bithell, Darren Hayes and David Walker. The Board and members would like to extend their heartfelt thanks for all the hard work put in by Richard, David and Darren.

Location
Our new site is on Denis Mutton Drive, Thebarton, one km from our current site. See the slideshow for a map.
Our new site is over 11,000 m2 on the River Torrens, next to a proposed linear park. For comparison our current site is 8,000m2.

Timing
Badge Constructions has been selected the builder, and they are now engaging sub-contarctors.
Excavation at the new site is to commence in March.
The Dome relocation will be done by Makmax, starting at the end of the current pennant season. There is the potential for the Club to be closed for 6 to 8 weeks during this phase. We anticipate that the Club will reopen around the 1st June 24 with both A and B greens being available for use.
Projected construction completion date is the end of November 24, and we expect to be occupying our new club in early 2025. This means that the 2024/25 Pennant season will be played at our current site.
