In light of advices from Bowls Australia, Bowls SA and Metropolitan Bowls Association which are “aimed at safeguarding the health of the sport’s members, participants, employees, volunteers and officials, many of whom are typically from demographics that are particularly susceptible to the effects of the virus” we wish to advise our members that the following events have either been cancelled or postponed effective immediately;
Pennants – finals have been cancelled and winners of each section will be determined by the ladder at the end of Round 18 (As advised by MBA).
Night Owls 2019/2020 – Cancelled for the remainder of the season (last game was due 8 thApril 2020
Tournaments – Good Friday, ANZAC Day and Blackwell Funeral Triples all cancelled.
Winter Social Bowls – postponed to a future date to be advised
Club Bookings – will all be cancelled and refunds of deposits to be made as soon as possible. No further booking will be taken until we are given the all clear.
State Events/Elite Training Days/Bowls SA Awards – all suspended/postponed as advised by Bowls SA until further notice
Presentation Day 4 April 2020 – postponed until a date to be advised
AGM Scheduled for 31 stMay 2020 – further advices to be sent to members depending on status of the situation at that time
Clubrooms – effectively closed until further notice.
