The Opening day function, held on Sunday the 10th of February, was a great success, as is evidenced by the pictures below. The newly renovated clubhouse looks resplendent, and we extend our thanks to those that assisted in making it so.
City of West Torrens Mayor Michael Coxon and the Member for Hindmarsh, Steve Georganas were among the notables in attendance, and we would like to thank them for their past, and no doubt future assistance. Mayor Coxon rolled the ceremonial first kitty, followed by our oldest member Norm Lockwood rolling the first bowl. Norm got pretty close, too, and with a borrowed (bowling) arm.
