We are delighted to report that Torrensville Bowling Club’s Division5 West side overcame a spirited fightback from the Glenelg side to claim victory. Club President, Brenton Rolton, paid tribute to the hard work and dedication of the team and said “It’s especially pleasing that we will now have a Division 3 and a Division 4 side for next year.
We extend our heartfelt congratulations to all who competed on the day, and those that contributed through the year. Commiserations to the Glenelg side, and special thanks for the Lockleys members for the excellent state of the greens and a well-run event.
It was particularly pleasing to see the number of club members that came out to support our team, and special shout outs to Frank McGann and Peter Hocking who, despite health challenges, came out to barrack for our girls and boys.
