10 people per green
Bowls SA have relaxed some guidelines in line with the relaxation on Sports during this time and as such we are able to have up 10 people on each green at the club.
Members Only
NB Only members of the club (life, full and social) are allowed to enter the grounds of the bowling club at this time. Please do not bring family or friends who are not members to the club. We would be in breach of guidelines and therefore insurance may not cover our club if we breach.
Bookings For Greens Essential
Allison (0475 567 722) will be liaising with Bruce so that she is aware of which grass green will be open. The grass green may have to be closed at certain times due to inclement weather and we will try to accommodate members where we can within the guidelines, however, you may be asked not to attend at a certain time if you are booked on the green that is closed. Please do not get angry at Allison or any others if this occurs. We will try to accommodate all within the guidelines set down by Bowls SA and the State Government.
We do have the times set so that we can manage numbers at the club and do not breach any government regulations, however, if you need to practice outside of those times please call or text Ali to advise when you will be attending. Do not just turn up!!
It should be noted that one club close to us was caught last week with 15 members in attendance instead of 10 and sanctions including fines may apply. Please do not be the one who does the wrong thing by the club and the rest of the members.
Bar still closed
The bar and clubrooms remain closed to members. At this point the clubrooms can only be used for administrative purposes of the club. We can hold meetings of up to 10 people but that is all!!!
We may see this restrictions be changed over the next couple of weeks.
